Steve Andreas

Steve Andreas was a commercial chemist before being a psychotherapist, author, editor and writer. His first released sort out his company Real People Press was “Don’t Push The River” a collaborative work of Craig Stevens (Steve’s mother) and Carl Rogers, Founding father of Rogerian Therapy. Perfectly established as Leader from the Gestalt therapy association as he discovered NLP, he left Gestalt to pay attention to NLP.

Together with his wife Connirae he founded NLP Comprehensive in Colorado in 1979 (which offered the very first ever NLP training certification), with her has co-written two books, Improve Your Mind—And Keep your Change (1987) and Heart from the Mind (1989).

He’s written numerous articles and created audio and video programs, and authored a biography of 1 of America’s path-breaking associations practitioners, Virginia Satir: The Designs of Her Miracle (1991). He gained an MA in psychology from Brandeis College under Abraham Maslow as well as for 3 decades has run Real People Press, a writer centered on personal change. As editor he produced the very first popular NLP book, “Frogs Into Princes” in 1979 which offered over 750,000 copies.

Along with his other Real People press NLP game titles, his co-authorship from the popular Wm Morrow book “NLP: The Brand New Technology Of Achievement” and the recent “Transforming Negative Self-Talk” W. W. Norton & Company he’s perhaps probably the most prolific NLP author and writer.

Even today over 4 decades later he is constantly on the research, write, and develop vibrant new NLP based therapeutic approaches and procedures.
